Femergy® Chica Summer Experience 
Advancing Girls Through Sports, Leadership, Wellness, and Nature

The Femergy® Chica Summer Experience (FCSE) is a safe, structured summer enrichment program for middle and high school girls in Columbus, designed to support health and wellbeing, positive youth development, and career-connected skills. FCSE includes an overnight camp, community-based mini-clinics, and ongoing summer activities focused on sports exploration, physical activity, leadership development, and social-emotional learning.

 

Participants engage in wellness workshops addressing nutrition, stress management, confidence, teamwork, and decision-making. Throughout the summer, youth also have access to drop-in hours at the Femergy® Center, providing a safe space, mentorship, meals, hygiene products, clothing, and supportive services. All programming is provided at no cost, reducing barriers and promoting healthy, positive summer engagement for youth and families.​​

​Mini-Clinic Focus Areas & Youth Outcomes

​

  • Character & Life Skills Development: Interactive workshops focused on self-regulation, effective communication, goal setting, decision-making, and conflict resolution to strengthen protective factors and reduce risky behaviors.

  • Golf Exploration & Skill Development (Summer 2026 Focus): Weekly golf instruction that introduces youth to the fundamentals of the sport while promoting physical activity, focus, discipline, and confidence.

  • Health & Wellness Education: Sessions addressing nutrition, physical fitness, stress management, and emotional regulation to promote physical health, mental wellbeing, and positive coping strategies.

  • Positive Youth Engagement & Prevention: Structured activities that provide safe, supervised spaces for youth to build confidence, teamwork, and healthy peer relationships during summer months.

  • Environmental Exploration & Service: Hands-on learning and service projects that encourage community connection, responsibility, and positive civic engagement.

  • Sustained Connection & Growth: Intentional relationship-building that fosters belonging, friendships, and continued personal and academic development beyond the summer program.

Femergy® Chica Camp 2026 - June 1-5th, 2026

​Our five-day, four-night overnight camp experience provides an immersive week in nature for adolescent girls to strengthen their connection to themselves, their communities, and the world around them. Key outcome areas listed above are addressed in a powerful, pro-she environment.

Join us for a field day and positive youth-development activities focused on effective communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and team-building! Students will walk away with increased focus, discipline, confidence, and healthy-living strategies to maintain positive physical and mental health.

ZipZone Outdoor Adventures

Saturday, July 11th

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM


Students will soar through the trees during this mini-clinic! We'll work together to build confidence, explore strategies that utilize nature as a healing force, and build trust with our environment and peers.


Please note, capacity is limited for this mini-clinic and students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional waivers apply and will be sent to you when your registration is confirmed.

Tap into your inner creativity and connection to the environment with our Picnic & Painting in the Park! Students will participate in reflective activities for positive social-emotional development as they express themselves visually and tap into the healing properties of nature.

I have read and understand the foregoing and voluntarily sign this Release of Claims with full knowledge of its contents and significance.


I hereby grant Femergy®, its program personnel and affiliates, permission to use my student's likeness in publications related to the program and mission of the agency, without payment or further consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of Femergy®. I hereby authorize Femergy®, its program personnel and affiliates, permission to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, print, publish, electronically or otherwise, the photo(s) and or video(s) for their programs, events, bulletins, newsletters, websites, or any other lawful purpose. I have read and understand the foregoing and voluntarily sign this Photo Release.

Femergy® is offering drop-in weekday programming on select Wednesdays (3:00-6:00 PM) this summer to continually engage students in positive youth development, community engagement, and wellness opportunities!
