About the Event
Youth Aviation Adventure (YAA) is a fast paced single day event, held at an airport near you, for ALL kids age 12 to 18. (Scouts BSA members less than 12 may attend). At a YAA program you will visit 10 different stations to learn about different facets of aviation.
Scouts BSA can earn the Aviation Merit Badge. Girl Scouts can also earn most of a badge. Non-scouts are also welcome.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST CHOOSE SCOUTS BSA DURING REGISTRATION FOR SCOUTS. ONLY THOSE REGISTERED AS SCOUTS BSA WILL RECEIVE BLUE CARDS.
Please plan to arrive by 8:30 AM at the latest for checkin. The program starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
Please bring a lunch, there will be a half-hour break for lunch. There is NOT enough time to leave the event to obtain lunch, please pack a lunch.
You must attend the entire program. Please do not plan to leave during the event.
