About the Event
The GHRO program serves middle and high school age girls (ages 12-18). We equip these young ladies of influence with the leadership, educational skills and support they need to overcome social, economic and gender barriers.
Through community based mentoring, hands on workshops, and school-based support,  Femergy® GHRO programing supports girls' academic and personal goals.
MENTORING: We strive to cultivate mentoring relationships that provide girls with guidance, support and community connections. We match adolescent girls between the ages of 12-18 years old, with a trained female empowerment mentor. Our goal is to cultivate new relationships that support increased confidence, self-sufficiency, workforce readiness, academic excellence and connection to our community. At minimum scholars will meet with their assigned mentor for nine months (September -May) meeting monthly for check-in sessions.

PROGRAM WORKSHOPS: In addition, to the mentoring connections, participants will engage in bi-monthly workshops/trainings, field trips, and an end of the cohort conference during that same timeframe. Participants will engage in sessions geared towards:

- Academic Support
- Career Exploration (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math focused)
- High School/Workforce Readiness
- Leadership Development
- Confidence Building
- Mental & Physical Wellness
