Exploring STEM Day at Wooster 2023

Exploring STEM Day's mission is to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM, by providing a one day conference for all 5th-7th grade girls to learn about career opportunities from women in math and science oriented fields. You'll participate in three fun, hands-on workshops from STEM role models from our community. Our goal is to motivate girls like you to become innovative and creative thinkers, ready to meet 21st century challenges!

Registration Instructions:

• You will be able choose your top 6 workshop choices as you checkout, make sure to fill in the boxes provided.
• The $15 registration fee includes all conference materials, a light lunch and a bag.
• Fee waivers are available for those with financial needs. Please fill out our Exploring STEM Day fee waiver registration form

Important:

• Workshops are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and participation is limited to the first 200 registrants.
• Registration deadline is March 24th or until workshop is full.

You will receive a reminder email the week before the conference. Workshop schedules will be provided when you check in on April 15th.

COVID Safety Guidelines: Exploring STEM Day will follow all COVID safety guidelines of the College of Wooster. Currently, this includes optional masking. These policies are subject to change based on community transmission levels and recommendations by the appropriate health agencies.
