About the Event
Who this in person service event is for:
Ages 6-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Due to the nature of this event, we ask that children and siblings outside this age group do not attend.
What you'll be doing:
Together we will create a kinder community by learning how to be an ally for those that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. We will talk about what it means to be an ally, what it means to be a bystander and how we can show our support and encourage LGBTQIA+ youth who are struggling, specifically those that visit the Kaleidoscope Youth Center. Activities will include discussion, interactive games, and creating encouragement kits for the youth at Kaleidoscope.
The Kaleidoscope Youth Center offers programming, housing and support services to queer youth in Columbus and throughout the state.
