For five jam-packed days, these young change-makers will participate in *career exploration workshops, leadership training, high school planning, college and workforce readiness. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with influential speakers, college professors, and community experts. In addition, college student mentors will further engage participants with hands on workshops, and support towards their required closing ceremony presentations.

Learning Objectives

By the end of conference, students will have:

  • Explored various career opportunities within Business, Arts, Science/Technology

  • Developed new interpersonal & presentation skills

  • Considered and began planning for their future career paths

  • Gained direct knowledge of requirements and how to apply for college

  • Gained direct knowledge of what high school courses they should be taking in preparation for college or the workforce

  • Training in community-building and advocacy

  • Developed leadership skills
